God's Got Your Back Through Every Storm

This is a psalm written by David when he felt far away from God. I know in my faith, I’ve felt disconnected and far from God. Sometimes I have felt so far I didn’t know how I was going to get back. I’ve had things happen in my life that made me mad at God. I've questioned his love for me. I’ve prayed and prayed for something and didn’t get it right away, when I wanted it. I have felt what David is saying in this Psalm. But want to know the good news? God will never leave you, he will never forsake you. When you feel like God is so far away, he’s standing right beside you taking on every storm you’re facing. He is with you and holding your hand. He wants to guide you through the storm, not abandon you in it. You will go through storms. Storms you feel like have no escape or no end, but no matter the storm, there is a God bigger than it. He will get you through it. He has a plan for each and every one of our lives, and the storms we go through are apart of it. Next time you’re feeling far or disconnected from God, I encourage you to open your bible and read. Look through Psalms and you’ll find many Psalms written praising God and thanking him for never leaving us. Next time you are going through a hard time I encourage you to go into prayer with God. Stop running from God and towards the things of this world, because unlike God they will leave you empty handed every time. I pray for each and every person who reads this and is going through a storm. I pray you let God guide you through it.
